Welcome to my personal tribute to one of the persons
I loved most. I grew with the Beatles' music and that was the reason
that later on I became a composer. (well, sort of...)
Little bio
I'm an Italian songwriter called Franco Turra,
living in Bologna, Italy. I consider myself as a "very indipendent"
artist, maybe because I released a lot of own albums, but none of
them produced by any label. My actual project is called "BEAT
BABOL", but the one you'll find here is a tiny old tune called
"Lily Linda Lullaby", an excerpt from my
1998's self produced album called "Ancora complimenti" by
Franco Turra e i cuori esagerati. It's a song I wrote immediately
after Linda McCartney's death, to express my infinite sadness and
as a gift for a person who was suffering incredibly more, that was
my "musical daddy" Paul McCartney. I never had the chance
to make him listening to this lovely tiny song (you know, it ain't
easy...) but my big desire has always been that, so I'm putting this
ONLINE for the first time, in its integral version (MP3) hoping that,
for hazard, Mr.Paul one day will get the chance!!! (as you see, I'm
quite optimistic...)
Demo Quality
Yeah, it was deliberally left in "demo state", because
I didn't want to lose its freshness, its real feelings, its damn sadness
for the great loss. Anyway I think it's crammed with positive feelings,
the ones that Linda has always transmitted worldwide to her fans and

sito è un contenitore virtuale per il mio tributo
a Linda McCartney che ha reso felice per tanti anni il mio
"papà musicale", e che è una canzone
che si chiama "Lily Linda Lullaby", che ho anche
utilizzato (ma col testo cambiato e in Italiano) per l'album
"Ancora Complimenti!!" di Franco Turra e i cuori
esagerati del 1998. E' una dolce ninna nanna per scortare
una persona fantastica nel paradiso. Dove prima o poi speriamo
